You definitely want to keep that good work we did today going!
Here are 5 simple tips to help you get the most out of your massage:

1. Journal Your Experience
Find a spot on your phone (Android: Google Keep, iPhone: Notes) or use a physical journal to track your post-massage experience.
Start by writing down:
• How do you feel in your body right now?
• How is that different from how you felt before your massage?
• Any changes? (Think: more urination, feeling tired or sore, emotional shifts, spiritual clarity.)
This becomes your baseline. Over the next few days or weeks, keep checking in. When you start to feel like you're back to how you felt before, the sign it’s time to rebook!
2. Avoid Toxins (Alcohol & Caffeine)
Both can dehydrate you and add extra strain on your lymphatic system. Give your body the best chance to detox and recover. Try to avoid them for 24–48 hours after your session.
3. Keep Moving (Gently)
Movement helps keep the lymph flowing and supports circulation. Go for a light walk, stretch, jumping jacks, or do some slow, mindful yoga. No intense exertion is advised; please do enough to keep things moving.
4. Eat Light, Nutritious Foods
Help your body eliminate toxins by eating clean, whole foods.
• Fresh fruits and vegetables
• Lean proteins
• Anti-inflammatory, antioxidant-rich options
If you can, it's best to avoid heavy and processed meals/ snacks for 24 hours or so.
4. Drink water
Staying hydrated supports your body’s natural detox process and helps it restore balance by releasing retained fluids.
Stick with these essential aftercare tips, and your body will thank you.
